The Pub Night evenings have now resumed; the bar will typically be open typically from 5 pm till 10:30 pm but there will be some special events these coming weeks when the opening times may be different.

“Paned o De” Welsh Conversation Group
Jackie will be holding “siarad cymraeg” sessions for a 2 hour period starting at 10 am. Dates for these upcoming sessions are:

Welsh Reading Group
In 2024 the Reading Group will meet on Saturdays, from 9–10 a.m. These classes are conducted by Antone (antone.minard@gmail.com).

West Vancouver Cultural Festival
Be an “ambassador” for Wales at our tent in Ambleside Park on Friday 31 May and/or Saturday 1 June at the West Vancouver Community Cultural Fest. Members are needed in many capacities – to set up the display, help with children’s crafts, talk to visitors and answer their questions, play an instrument, introduce the Welsh language etc. Please get in touch if you’re available, even for a short time. Please let the organizers know (mail@welshsociety.com) if you can assist.
Whitecaps versus Wrexham
The game will be held at BC Place on Saturday July 27th. Thickets available via Ticket master and plans are being made for a celebration. More details to follow.
Walking Group
The Walking Group will meet at 11 am every other Monday. Email details will be sent to members re the locations and the dates.
Book Club
